Getting Apple Watch for elderly who uses android phone.

I would like to get an Apple Watch for my elderly father. He is using android. I would like to connect the Apple Watch to my iPhone.

1) what model should I get?

2) how do I setup with my iphone

3) I want to get his fall detection and Afib alert. Is it possible?

4) I don’t want him to get notification from my phone. Is it possible?

5) how do I setup Apple ID for my dad. Do I need a telco eSIM line?

See this document: Set up Apple Watch for a family member - Apple Support

You should NOT pair it with your phone. The document linked above explains how to set up and Apple Watch for a family member who does not have an iPhone.

You will need to purchase a cellular watch and your carrier must support it.

You will NOT get any alerts for anything on the watch including afib. It can be set up to notify you (or other emergency contacts) in addition to emergency services in the case of a fall.
