Check the documentation for the particular webmail service. Most will have some sort of filtering.
iCloud Mail filtering is fairly limited, but can move messages to the trash:

I’d expect macOS 10.14 and its Mail client can still access iCloud Mail directly, though that may need to use an application-specific password.
