Apple watch battery drains too quickly when using golf app
I tried a Google search first and it became obvious that this is a common problem that's been reported for years, regardless of which golf app was used, how it was set up, what data is being synced, which watch model is used, and which Iphone model. Most people said they tried turning off multiple sync features and switching to power saving mode, to no avail. My wife and I have the same problem, even though we use different golf apps, she has a Series 3 watch and I have a 4, I have a iPhone 13 pro, and she has a 14 pro. But we have both been experiencing the same thing for years with earlier equipment. Of course the discussions were closed long ago, and I've never found a way to access successful solutions to any problems I investigate once closed in the "Community," assuming that an easy fix ever existed. I just wish that when this happens, which I think is very often in my experience, there would be a statement saying that the problem is unresolved for most people, but that Apple intends to resolve it with a future hardware or software update. Or, that Apple doesn't think it's important enough to worry about, and we should learn to work around it somehow. That way, I won't be tempted to keep trying to find a fix under the mistaken assumption that it's a simple problem that was solved long ago.
