MacBook Air M1 overheating after screen replacement

It was running all fine until I had a damaged screen incident, so I got my screen replaced by an authorized Apple service center. After the service, I started facing a new issue of overheating even when I'm just browsing the web with like 1 or 2 tabs open. It's never faced this kind of heating issue from this Mac also the hinge is not perfect anymore like when I brought it new its not smooth anymore just saying that I paid a lot of money for the repair(could have got myself a new device if I had spent a bit more) but didn't get the Apple perfection that I was expecting.

This could have to do with hinge misalignment / poor reconnection of thermal sensors (by the technicians opening the bottom case).

Try running Apple diagnostics on your Mac:

If the screen was replaced recently, I recommend taking it back and reporting the issue to make sure nothing got damaged during the repair process.
