just login to your old Apple account on iCloud.com (what I recommend only works on a computer or tablet(mac or iPad)) and click down load on any files you want and create shared photo albums to share your photos with yourself, you can share them from the website, and go to contacts and share them as well.
That is, if you changed to a different apple account. Other wise go here.
Set up the device using your backup or log into your iCloud account on your device to resync.
