I connect my phone to bluetooth, not carplay. It plays media and call go through just fine. But i want only media play and answer I want to answer the phone by hand and talk through the phone only

A: That's not a feature supported on iPhone
B: KiltedTim is correct and in most locations, it's illegal to use a cell phone handheld while driving
iOS doesn’t offer a built-in way to split Bluetooth functionality for media only, while excluding calls, unless your car stereo or Bluetooth device supports this customization.
