How can I minimize iCloud storage without any extra cost?

I don't want to pay $10 month to store 200GB on iCloud (have to use the 2 TB option)...any way to drastically reduce my storage or use a more economical storage. Storing Photos, Passwords, Messages and Mail.

Thanks

You could copy photos to a computer, to some place that ISN"T synced with iCloud Photos; and make one or more backups of the computer. (You do keep backups, right?)

Of course, if you transfer them to a computer and then delete them from your phone, they will only be available on your computer; not on. your phone.

Perhaps iCloud is not what you need. iCloud is not designed for "storing" stuff; iCloud is made for synchronizing files and pictures so they can all be used seamlessly by different connected devices. Look around for other methods-- an external hard drive, for instance, is especially good for storage.
