I am running the latest version of iOS. And, I can select a second alert after selecting the first. As stated, you may be using email that does not support two alerts. You may also wish to verify that you are running the latest software and try resetting your device.

The alert and second alert still appear in calendar.
If your calendar is synced to a managed work account, you may see different options that you would if you were using a personal account.

Which part of "no, they didn't" is unclear? Both muguy and I are running the lasted software version and have the second alert.

What happens if you change the first alert to something other than the default? Does the second alert show then?

I am not synced with a managed work account and never have been. The second reminder alert disappeared from my phone after the latest software update in New Zealand.

If you read my comment properly you will see that the second alert was removed by apple after I updated to the latest software version. That is the second time I explained that to you. I am not using email that does not support two alerts, that is a load of rubbish. Please provide proof where it says some emails don’t support two alerts. Do you see I provided proof with screenshots. I am not using an email anyway, I just set up a reminder to pick up some milk, just like I done hundreds of time before. I have not changed any settings in my phone or synced with anything. It is obvious that Apple have removed the second alert. I know you want to write something so you sound like you know what you are talking about, but your comment is completely wrong
