Most recent update of Chrome going blank and flashing, becomes unusable

Is there a way to go back to the most-recent-previous version of Chrome? The only thing I'm finding wants me to go back to a very old version of Chrome, not a more recent one.

I have a 14" 2023 Macbook Pro (M2) running Sequoia 15.5. I updated Google Chrome to the latest version [Version 137.0.7151.69 (Official Build) (arm64)], and it has been glitchy - sometimes flashing, sometimes the whole tab bar goes white, or the screen does. If I have more than one window of tabs open, sometimes I can't get the "resting" one to come back to life. The glitching happens most often when I'm tutoring with a tutoring company through their interface. They require us to use Chrome as it is the only browser they will support, so I can't use something else to fix the problem. Their IT department says no one else has reported this and they can't help me. The only thing that fixes it is quitting Chrome and then opening it again - really not sustainable, and I've had to do that four or five times over the course of two hours.

Hi there!

I had the same issues for a couple of days now and tried different versions, which didn't solve the problem. What I just found out was that I had setting checked under settings->system "use graphics acceleration, if possible.." (don't know the exact term since I translated it from German). Once I unchecked this setting, the chrome browser is stable again. Hope it solves your problem as well.

The gracious way to respond is to simply ignore the overage, and ask a more pointed question.
