I have recorded 2 music videoa via Quicktime on my Mac. I have transferred to an HDD which I plug into my Sony Smart Tv. One plays perfectly the other does not sync video and sound. Same source of media recorded, same recorder (Quicktime) same HDD so why the difference?

Sony smart tv instructions are uncertain on this matter. It appears I can (somehow) sync the problem video but it leaves me wondering what then happens to the correct video on the HDD and all the other media input types.
Apologies for the delay in replying. I suspect that I will have to find a work around and see if any compromise on playback quality is, at least, reasonable.

Are they both in sync when played on your iMac? If so, no idea.
Yes, until one de-syncs when played on the smart tv from HDD
I suspect it's one of those issues that will be difficult to track down.
