Orange dot appears on iPhone when kept idle

Sometimes when my phone i s kept idle and i pick it to start using it i see the organge mic dot on top which goes away in some time but i don't why is the mic on while the phone's screen is off and it is kept idle.

iPhone 13 Pro shows orange dot after iOS 18 Update Since I updates to ios 18 my iphone 13 pro, orange dot (microphone) won’t go away. I closed every app, turned off microphone for all apps, restarted phone but it appears again. can someone tell me how can I turn it off? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Orange dot on LEFT upper corner Hi,in some apps and in some certain times orange dot on left upper cornor on my iPhone 7.I know it means mic when it is on RIGHT but mine is on left.Can you please inform me?

Open the control center that will display which app used both the Camera and Mic recently.
