How to ANALYZE CHORDS from a MIDI GUITAR TRACK?

I created a midi guitar track several years ago and I didn't document the chords I used. Now I want to know what those chords are without having to meticulously identify each chord in the piano roll.

Of course, I tried to pull the region into the Global Chord track, but it won't allow that to happen.

Seems like a no-brainer for Apple to make this a feature. I see LOTS of other cats longing for this ability.

If a Session Player track can analyze the chords from a midi track, then why can't the Chord Track analyze the same midi track and layout the chord progression? C'mon Apple... MAKE THIS POSSIBLE!
