M4 MacBook Air Lid Feels Harder to Open with One Hand – Normal?

Hi everyone,

I just got the new MacBook Air M4, and I noticed it’s harder to open the lid with one hand compared to my old M2 MacBook Air. The base lifts a little unless I hold it down.

Has anyone else noticed this?

• Is this normal for the M4 model?
• Does it get easier over time?
• Should I take it to Apple to check?
