Recovering 100+ accidentally deleted notes from iCloud backup on iPhone 12 Pro Max

Hello,

I urgently need your help. I accidentally deleted all my notes in the Notes app, including those stored in iCloud and the “Recently Deleted” folder. This happened on Thursday, May 29, 2025, between 3-4 a.m. These notes were extremely important to me- over 100+ in total -containing personal data, critical information, and the most valuable moments of my life.

I kindly ask for your assistance in recovering these notes from an iCloud backup, if possible.

I’m desperate to recover them in any possible way. Please let me know if there is anything Apple can do on your side to help restore my deleted notes, even partially. I would be truly grateful for any assistance.

Delete and recover notes on iCloud.com - Apple Support

Once you emptied the recently deleted folder, the notes are permanently deleted. Unless you manually backed up the notes another way you unfortunately, cannot get them back.

When you have iCloud turned on for Notes, Photos, Messages, it is not a back up service. It is a syncing feature. This is so you can see them on iCloud and across multiple devices. This also means that whatever you action you take on one device it happens across all devices in iCloud.
