recovering lost Notes

I checked my notes app this morning; all of my notes that have been compiling with confidential data vanished suddenly!! I've been accumulating notes since the iPhone 3G!

I added another apple iPhone to my apple id and a few days later, everything in the Notes appl was completely wiped. There is no recently deleted remnants or temp. files either. No recently deleted folders. The folder structure was altered also... Any way to roll-back one of the iphone back-ups? There is over 9GBs of data in old backups... I know there is a backup that was created before the contents of the Notes App vanished!

There was information in notes that is not recorded anywhere else. Thoughts?

Hi there Johnny5 JPO,

If you're missing notes from your iPhone, you'll want to be sure you've worked through all the suggested steps in this support article to check your settings and see if you can locate them: If you're missing notes on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If you're not able to find them with the steps in the link above, and you're sure you have a backup containing your notes, you can restore from a backup with the steps here: Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup

Take care.
