How to set up iCloud email on the Gmail app for Mac running macOS Sequoia?

i have Mac laptop running Sequoira operating system and want to set up a iCloud.com email address on a gmail application. Is there any one who can give me step by step instructions as I am new at this and know just enough to be dangerous.

Google doesn't have a Mac App for Gmail (they do have Android, iPhone and iPad apps). There are some 3rd party Gmail apps on Macs.

To setup iCloud email in non-Apple apps, see instructions in iCloud Mail server settings for other email client apps - Apple Support

Note that you will need to turn on two-factor authentication for your Apple Account if not already on and you will need to use an app-specific password rather than your usual password. That is discussed in the above Apple Support article.
