Upgrading macOS 10.13.6 to macOS 11 for Google Ads Editor on a Macbook Pro

I am trying to download Google Ads Editor to my laptop. But I have MacOS 10.13.6 and MacOS 11 is required. Is it possible to upgrade to 11?

I have a Macbook Pro 13 from 2017

No luck. The installation will not start. When I have accepted where to install it and accepted terms - the installation does not start. I have tried several times.

What is the error message you receive when it fails?

Many times anti-virus software, cleaning/optimizer apps, and third party security software interfere with normal operation of macOS. You can try booting into Safe Mode to see if it makes any difference to running the Catalina installer.

Another option would be to create a bootable macOS 10.15 Catalina USB installer & boot from the USB Catalina installer. If you have those apps installed which I mentioned previously, then you may encounter issues during phase 2 even when using the USB installer.
