Will leaving a shared Apple Music account erase my music and playlists?

Hello, I am currently on a parents iCloud/Apple Music account. If I leave the account and begin my own will that erase all my music and playlists? Thanks

Yes. You shouldn't be sharing an Apple Account with them. But once you make a fresh Apple Account, you can share your playlists over from the other account.
