Can I disable this auto connection of Bluetooth 'feature' to family devices via Find My?

I have family members on Family Sharing, and also have Find My enabled on many of their devices, specifically AirPods, so that I can help find them if lost. A recent macOS and iPadOS update has caused my devices (Mac and iPad) to connect to their AirPods via Bluetooth on my devices. They show up automatically in my Bluetooth settings as "[wife's name] AirPods Pro #2 - Find My", and worse, automatically connect to my devices when they pull them out of their case.

Is there a way to disable this Bluetooth 'feature' of Find My? Find My should be for finding things, not automatically connecting devices to other user's devices automatically while they're trying to join a meeting. Stay in your lane Find My.
