FaceTime HD Camera Detected in System Report but Not Working in Any App

Hi everyone,

My built-in Face time-HD Camera shows up in the System Information, but it's not working in any app. In addition,No app prompts for camera access, and there is no camera listed under System Settings> Privacy>Camera. However, when I run system_ profiler SPCameraDataType in Terminal it detects the camera.

Is this most likely a hardware issue, even though Apple Diagnostics shows nothing . Any final checks I can try before booking a repair?
