How do I display bookmarks in Chrome's menu bar on iMac?

I'm new to using my iMac. But, I've been fooling around with my bookmarks and I'm having difficulty in having the bookmarks appear in the menu bar when I load the browser Chrome. While I can certainly access my bookmarks by clicking on bookmarks at the very top of the screen (not sure what the top line is called) I want my bookmarks to appear in the menu bar when I first load the browser. Right now my home page shows up in the menu bar, but I would like my bookmarks to also be shown there. Appreciate someones help. Thank you.

Then you should seriously reconsider your decision to infect it with Google. No one needs Chrome, especially Mac users. Installing it obviates most of a Mac's privacy and security advantages.

If you are required to use Chrome, then return your Mac for a full cash refund and buy a Chromebook instead. But no one needs Chrome.
