I have placed caption texts to make some speakers words more understandable. However, when I've exported the movie to the default Export File, the texts disappear from the movie. I exported it twice and still not there. I have no clue why.

In the Export window go to the Roles panel. Click on Captions and select Burn in captions.

Captions need to be converted to text as subtitles if you want them to appear on the video.
Click Captions in the right of the screen.

I formatted all the captions into SRT but that still didn't work. I must say that the Help guide gives no instructions as to this issue. You see the words in the Viewer, so you figure they'll be in the exported video. Could you tell me how to covert them to text, or a link describing this process?
I do not get that same window when I click roles or Burn in Captions (see attached) after I click "Next". Perhaps I shouldn't have formatted SRT that created a second line of captions?
