What causes album art to disappear in iTunes?

I added a new album to my library through iTunes app in my computer. Then I noticed all the album art I had disappeared, literally no song has it. Is there a way to fix this without deleting everything and adding it back again? Thanks

iTunes/Music playlist art and album art all gone with iOS 17.4.1 I just updated the iPhone (12 pro) to the newest software (17.4.1) and all my playlist, album, and song art is missing. This is extremely upsetting as there doesn't seem to be another app from which I can easily download my library and play it. I buy a lot of music from Bandcamp and have two decades of digitized music some not available on streaming. Is there a fix to get the new Music app to sync my artwork?

Album artwork in Music app? Help!!! There seem to be quite a few queries about this issue...has any one come up with a solution that works yet? I have an iPhone 12 running iOS 14.4.1 and MacBook Pro running Macs OS Ventura 13.3.1. I have a huge (iTunes library) built mostly from CDs I have ripped to iTunes over many years and some I have bought from Itunes over the years but as many others have pointed out the album artwork for most of the library is completely messed up...why? And more importantly how the hell do I fix it? Thanks

Songs won’t stayed added to library. Hi there. Albums I add to my library continually seem to disappear. I’ll click the + button and it appears to have saved (i.e.the + button changes to the download arrow) but a day later it’s back to the + button. It’s even happening to albums I go the extra step with and download; the following day it’s gone. Anyone else having this issue?
