"I received a notification from Apple, supposedly that I had a new virus in my MacBook Air: Hello, I have a MacBook Air Apple M1 is a chip. The memory is eight GB and the software is macOS Sonoma 14.6.1 I received a message from Apple supposedly that said that I had a virus in my software and a contact them. That's sound a little bit concerning realizing that it really look like it came from Apple."

Report this Scam to Apple and Others:

It is a scam. It did not come from Apple. Delete it and move on.

It is not "mostly scam". It is completely scam.

No one, not even Apple, can "see" what is on your computer unless you specifically grant them remote access.
