Songs in iTunes folder not cropped like in iTunes itself

I’ve cropped a song in iTunes (ctrl+i), but its not cropped in the iTunes Media Folder

Is there a way to synch, so all modifications I do to the song in iTunes, will be in the song in the folder also?

Name, Artist, Album etc was synched, but the length, is not. In this case I've cropped "off" the start and the end of some songs

ITunes Won’t Organise Songs into Albums I use XLD to convert CDs to Apple lossless and send the files to iTunes. This used to be a one-click process but, now, the individual song files are loose in the Music folder, not inside an Artist/Album folder and don’t appear in iTunes. I have to drag the individual files onto the iTunes window, and only then do they organise themselves into an album and appear in iTunes. iTunes playlist and file Duplicates and Moves Hi, I have the following related newbie question: I created a playlist and dropped music files from my Download folder into it. 1) Do the files gets copied ( duplicated) in Music > Itunes folder? It seems they get copied into iTunes Media folder inside Music > iTunes folder. 2) if so, is there an option to tell iTunes, after copying the files into iTunes> iTunes Media folder, remove the original files to avoid redundancy and duplicates? 2) If not, I remove and move the files from my Download folder, will the playlist adjust the files locations and plays them with not issue? Any help would be appreciated. CS

How can I merge songs into an album on iTunes? I enjoy iTunes recently I stumbled upon an issue . when I download songs whether if it's from YouTube ,CD or any other site , it's downloads to my iTunes successfully . my main problem is when I'm in the (RECENT ADDED) section on iTunes library I left click then hold and highlight the songs then right click and select (GET INFO) I edit the information on the songs at the same time and try to merge it or better yet create as a album . just recently I updated my Mac mini to the latest software all of sudden I can't merge the songs no more on the iTunes library in the (RECENT ADDED SECTION). I'm not sure if that was case or not. however I did find alternative way, instead highlight the songs and edit information at the same time.However it allow me to edit the song (ONE) at a time instead of multiple in the (RECENT ADDED SECTION) on iTunes . Can someone please from apple read this so they send me or us an update to fix this issue . its kind of a headache [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Do you mean you set a Start and Stop time? That will control playback, but does not shorten the file. If you want a new shorter file, set the Start and Stop and then right-click, File, Convert and create a new AAC.
