Why does Airbnb icon change from red to blue on iPad's Safari start page?

recently my icon for Airbnb on my iPad changed from red to blue (the old icon) and no matter what I do, It will not go back. It shows correct in the menu (the new red). If I go to the Airbnb website, and try to add a favorite from the webpage, it shows the blue icon BUT adds to the shortcuts with the red as shown in the photo (to the address bar only).

I have cleared cookies, deleted the Airbnb app , did a hard reset on my iPad, did everything I could think of to make sure the blue icon was not on my iPad but an stumped???

the same process on my MacBook is correct as well as my iPhone. they show the red icon on the favorites on the start page of safari.
