Apple Music (Macbook) will not play. Skips instantly through all tracks.

I use Apple Music on an iPhone 13 (iOS 18.4.1) and a MacBook Pro 16inch 2019 (MacOS 15.4.1).

I only updated the MacBook to Sequoia from Catalina a couple of weeks ago.

This morning, while trying to play music from Apple Music, nothing would play. Instead, it would skip over each song instantly running down the playlist endlessly.

Music plays fine from iPhone.

Issue happens using both Bluetooth and built in speakers. At one point, it did seem to be limited to music I already had added to library (music previously unlistened had no issues) but since trying again it now seems to be unable to play anything at all.

I have tried:

  • logging out and back into Apple Music Account in Apple Music
  • Re-authorizing the MacBook

No luck.
