How do I turn off 'Learn from this App' for all apps on my iPad after disabling Apple Intelligence?

Despite having switched off Apple Intelligence on my 5th Gen iPad Air, I was horrified to see that every App I had on my iPad had their setting for "Learn from this App" turned ON under the "Apple Intelligence & Siri" option.

I checked ALL of my apps on my iPad, and they ALL had this switched on by default, despite me having turned AI OFF. I don't use AI, and I don't want to help train AI from my use of my iPad.

Very unhappy with this covert AI data harvesting without my permission.

Suggest you all check your iPad settings and switch off if you share my concerns.

Hey EJW Tas,

Hope your having a great day! That is auto enabled on all (also non-apple intelligence devices) devices. That just means Siri would learn from the app, and way you use it. Which means, if you use Siri, it would give you more personalized suggestions. You can refer to this article for more information: Siri Suggestions on iPhone - Apple Support.

Thanks, but I don't use SIRI on my iPad. I had naively assumed turning off the AI setting would prevent data harvesting. I'm quite annoyed at the opt-out strategy - not a good look for the company that prides itself on user privacy.

The toggle in settings, is just the "Apple Intelligence" toggle(image below). If you want to turn off Siri learning completely, you would have to go by and turn it off for each app. But as I said, if you don't use Siri (or turn of listen for siri/press power(or top) button for siri) then there is nothing to worry about.
