Apple Music song skipping when using media keys

Whenever I use Apple Music on my Mac and I use the skip or rewind keys on my keyboard it skips more than one song even if I only press it once. This started happening after I reset my mac about a month ago and I haven't found any way to fix it. This issue still happens if I use different forms of the media keys (Wireless keyboard and mouse) they still produce the same issue. This issue seems to happen more the farther down the playlist I go. Video showing the issue as you can see in this video it isn't consistent but it still makes me not able to use media keys to play music. This issue doesn't occur on spotify.
