How to read and write BTRFS partitions on iMac M1?

I did find a couple of ways to access BTRFS drives on a Mac, but neither is for the faint of heart.

One involves installing Homebrew (which I would never suggest anyone do), followed by a lot of Terminal commands.

The other is a GitHub system plugin project that says right out it isn't stable, but would provide read-only access. You also have to compile the code yourself in order to use it.

BTRFS is an obsolete Linux format. It was dropped from support by Red Hat all the way back in 2018. The chances you would be able to access such a drive on a Mac is very slim.
