iPad connected to HomePod mini but no sound

When using my iPad to connect to my HomePod mini, there is no sound output even though the connection is successful. I’ve tried several fixes including restarting the app and enabling then disabling Airplane Mode, but none of these work. The only effective solution so far has been restarting the iPad itself.


This issue has never happened on my iPhone — only on the iPad. I also found a similar post in the Apple Community from back in 2022, and it seems that this bug still exists in 2025 with no permanent fix. Is there an update or solution available for this?
