Why are my apps resetting and losing content on iPad after iPadOS 17.7.7 update ?

After the iPadOS upgrade to 17.7.7, a ton of apps are losing content. Games lose paid content, and apps like LinkedIn, Swiss Post, Synology NAS, and Grammarly require users to log in again after closing the app. Also, must reconfigure apps to get notifications as if they were newly installed.

I hope Apple will solve this or give a massive refund.

As I can see not I’m the only one who faces of issues after the upgrade

Same, apps lose settings each time they are restarted and permissions needed on each restart.

Same here (iPad Pro 10,5, German iPadOS).

The reason could be (what I found out after some "research"): Apps have no right to save or get access (permanently) to the iCloud.

I use BusyCal and have to enter an app specific password after quitting (?) the app. Same with GoodLinks (reopen shows always the Update text for the newest version), and another app looses the option "Synch with iCloud" (choosing it works, but only until I quit and restart the app).

If you have encountered a bug, you and anyone else that encounter the issue should submit a Bug Report via Apple's Product Feedback portal.  For iPad and iPadOS:

Feedback - iPad - Apple

When submitting your Bug Report, please ensure that you include details of your iPad model and installed version of iPadOS within the body-text of your report along with details of the problem. Do not rely upon the pick-list - as this rarely includes the current version of iPadOS.

Every Bug Report counts. Unless reports are submitted (with adequate detail), Apple may not assign resources to investigate and correct the issue.

In addition [i.e., not as a substitute] to submitting a Bug Report, you might also consider seeking assistance directly from Apple Support. You can contact the Support Team using the Support link at top-right or bottom-left of this page; you can initiate and manage your support cases from Apple devices using the excellent Apple Support App. If not already installed, the App can be downloaded from the App Store:
