iCloud drive is not showing on family shared Mac Finder

I have an iCloud+ 200 GB account that I have set up for family sharing with my wife. On her Mac, she is subscribed to my iCloud + account. Under Family>Subscriptions, it shows up and I can see that it has 117 GB used. However, in Finder under iCloud Drive, nothing shows up.

What do I need to do to access the files on the shared iCloud drive on her Mac?

With iCloud+ Family Sharing you are sharing the storage only. You aren't sharing files or data in each other's accounts.

In Finder, she will only see her files and data in the iCloud Drive section. Unless you or her specifically share a file or folder with each other, you won't see each other's files at all.

If you do share something, it will appear under the Shared folder in the Finder's side bar.

Ok, thanks for letting me know. I was under the impression that once you share the whole drive the files and folders are shared as well. So I shared the specific folder with my wife. It showed up on her Mac, but it's sitting in the Downloads folder. Shouldn't it be showing up instead in "Shared" under iCloud? I'm afraid if it's just on her Mac if she makes changes to it then I won't see the updated file when I open it on my Mac/
