iPhone connecting to random Samsung devices

My iPhone will randomly connect to other phones/devices I’ve NEVER paired to. I know it’s not supposed to do that, but I have screenshots showing that it does.

There is no, ‘i’ in the blue circle next to the random device.

When my phone connects to these devices, it’s always when I’m in the car and connected to my own car’s Bluetooth. Usually it’s when I’m at a stoplight/stop

sign, but not always.

It is very annoying and I always have to turn off my own Bluetooth which I then have to

stop my car to reconnect to my Bluetooth again.

In these cases this Bluetooth accessory has been paired via an app of yours which only communicates with that one app. They must be explicitly setup and within a few feet to operate. These are usually Smart watches and health monitoring devices. So figure out which app that is, you can go to Settings > Privacy and Security > Bluetooth > Disable access to apps and see if it goes away. Here’s what I found from the names of your Bluetooth accessories. Chipolo is the name of an item-tracking device that tracked through Find My. S21 is the name of a Samsung phone.

If this was the case, resetting all network connections would have fixed this. This is the advice given directly by Apple support.

Others and I have found that if you disable the app that is causing this Bluetooth connection it should disappear. Please take a look at the apps that you have Bluetooth access granted and let us know what they are.

That is the issue, this issue is present only when driving around other vehicles. I’m sure OP would also agree repeatedly disabling bluetooth for several apps over and over would genuinely take a week if not more.

However, I will try to disable every app at once and see if the issue is fixed.

Let me know if that works. And if it does, you’ll then have to one by one turn off Bluetooth and check to narrow it down. That should only take a few minutes.

It appears that you are experiencing some unusual issues with your iPhone. Have you attempted to restart the device to determine if the problems persist?

If the issues continue, it would be advisable to reach out to Apple support for assistance. This situation appears to warrant their attention, as it may be a security concern in my opinion
