Random phones connecting to my iPad via Bluetooth

Sometimes it’s Galaxies, sometimes an iPhone called ”iPhone”. I live in an apartment building so it’s probably my neighbors.


Can I stop people from connecting to it?

Should I be worried?

Precisely where in iPad settings do you see these devices listed as "connected"?


Consider posting a screenshot - suitably redacted if necessary, using markup tools, to obscure any personal or sensitive information - as this will help contributors to better understand what you are seeing:

Perhaps you have a WiFi+Cellular model iPad - and you have added a cellular plan? If so, and you have enabled the iPad's hotspot feature (that shares the cellular data connection), disable the hotspot.
