I try to open the app store but it won't let me download any apps like weather, netflix or hulu.
I try to reboot it but that does not work. help
But my internet connection is working how it should.

Given you are running the Simulator, this is a development-related question, best for the Apple Developer Forum, and not one for ASC.

AFAIK, there is no App Store for the simulator. Not when last I checked.
