Migrating from a late-2015 Intel iMac to a 2025 M4 iMac. Hoping to rely on the CCC clone instead of the old Mac's Time Machine backup. Has this worked well for anyone?

My family members have used CCC backups with the Migration Assistant and it has worked OK. Personally I have migrated everything manually from CCC backups but I have a much tidier and more organized folder structure so I know where the important files and also the by default hidden important ~/Library files are.

I use ccc all the time to migrate and no issue.
Time Machine backup, bootable CCC backup, or bootable SuperDuper! backup – all should be good.
Just don't migrate over Wi-Fi.
Will Migration Assistant work well with a Carbon Copy Cloner clone of my old Mac?
