Solved. Siri won’t read text out loud

Open settings, click on accessibility. Next click Siri. Scroll down and toggle “announce notifications on speaker. It was driving me crazy. I hope this helps people

Siri typing what it hears in my text msg I’m typing a text msg and Siri is hearing what is being said in background (tv or wife) types what it hears into my text msg. I’ve tried to turn off whatever i can find but it still is happening.

Siri's interrupted reading on iPhone When Siri starts reading and the paragraph is highlighted and the words that are being spoken are in blue. Siri stops reading until the blue is caught up to what has already been said. It may continue reading and it may not. Not sure what the issue is. [Re-Titled by Moderator]
