Apple Music Stuttering and Shifting Audio When Streaming Quality Changes (Lossless On or Off)

Hi all,

I’m running into a frustrating issue with Apple Music when streaming—most noticeable with Lossless enabled, but it also happens with Lossless off.

When the app switches between streaming qualities (likely due to network changes), the audio briefly stutters or shifts. It’s not just a pause—it’s like the song jumps slightly, as if the different quality streams aren’t perfectly synced. Almost like two versions of the same track aren’t aligned frame-for-frame, so playback skips or overlaps a bit during the handoff.

This really breaks the listening experience, especially with seamless genres like classical or ambient music. I’ve tested this on multiple devices and networks, so it doesn’t seem isolated to one setup.

Is anyone else seeing this? Would love to know if Apple is aware or working on a fix.
