iPhone 12 Pro Bluetooth music browsing (AVRCP) with BMW Connected App

Since updating my iPhone 12 Pro to iOS 18.3.2, Bluetooth music browsing (AVRCP) no longer works with the BMW Motorrad TFT on my R 1250 GS. Play/Pause/Skip works, but I can no longer browse playlists or albums – the screen just says "Updating…" endlessly. With my old iPhone 7 (iOS 15.8.2), everything works fine on the same bike. Please check AVRCP browsing compatibility in iOS 18 – this severely limits usability while riding.
