I’ve had this happen too—it’s usually because the browser cleared cookies, updated, or you switched networks, so the site thinks it’s a new device even though it’s still your Mac.
Changing which Browser you are using sometimes causes this.
Changing which Major MacOS version often changes the Browser version, and causes this as well.
Just to add, if you clear cookies in your browser that could also cause a site not to recognize you as previously visiting. In any case, it has nothing to do with Macs.
Same here. Just a point update to the OS will cause some sites we use (financial ones in particular) to behave as if you've never logged in with that computer before.
Because the sites in question don't recognize you've signed into them before. There's no need for all caps.

Just to add— I would not make it an issue.
It is not a perfect science...
I get than sometimes when I update or upgrade the system.
