M2 Mac Mini Bluetooth Issues(continued and resolved)
I have been having connectivity issues with the Mac mini 2023. I wanted to play music on a Speaker(SYLVANIA) and my headset or earbuds. The issue is that the Mac mini 2023 would only let me get 10 ft away then the sound would drop. I tested on two other Mac mini 2023 machines and had the same issue. After months and months of uninstall macOS upgrades to the latest macOS nothing worked.
Today after talking to Apple Support for the 15th time about this issues I was lucky enough to get Joe on the line. He stated he heard of this issues and recalled there was an issue with the Mac mini hubs that set under the Mac mini. The ones that look like a Mini but are a USB HUB and external storage area. I unplugged the HUB then tested and to my amazement the Bluetooth started to work as expected. I was able actually get 40 to 50 ft away before the music started to cut out.
So just unplug your USB HUBS that set under the Mac Mini. It worked for me so Good Luck.
