Many Of my APPS ( Office 365) will not function as an update is required to the new 13 version.

Microsoft Support – Upgrade macOS to continue receiving Microsoft 365 and Office for Mac updates

"What if I don't update macOS to a supported version?

If you're on an unsupported version of macOS, your Office apps will still work but you would no longer receive any updates including security updates. For example, if you're on macOS Monterey, but later you don't update your macOS to a supported version when macOS Monterey is no longer supported, you won't receive any updates of any kind."

So if you already have Office 365, you can continue to use it on Monterey for now. You won't get any updates, and you might not want to risk doing any clean reinstalls.

"Note that new installs of Microsoft 365 for Mac require macOS Ventura or later."
