How to delete Google Maps from iPhone 13 with privacy restrictions enabled?

Try this:

Settings

General

iPhone Storage

Click on Google Maps

Choose to Offload App

Let it offload

Now click Delete App

I was having the same issue removing the app and this is what finally worked for me.

I am having the same issue. All permissions to delete are correct. I press and hold the app icon, usual menu pops up, I select Delete App, second menu pops up, I select Delete App again and then nothing happens. The app is still there.

Odd thing tho is I am able to delete other 3rd party apps.

I tried again, it worked and was removed. It was just leaving the app on the screen even after restarting phone and checking the settings but then after I commented in support I checked the app store and it had the download button so it had removed it though the icon remained. This was on an iphone 11 pro after updating the latest update. Issue is fixed for me now.

Mate nothing happens when u try to delete it why is it so hard for to understand that its simple u go to delete the app by pressing delete spp and it does nothing, but every other app u can delete. Google are fuc…around with us and done something to stop people deleting it obviously.

Nothing it won’t delete. I want to delete it for the purpose of deleting its data. I went to settings -> general -> iPhone storage -> google maps and pushed delete. And I get a circle like it’s trying to delete but it just stays like that.
