Acquire mother's Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10.5 late do not know the password, and would like to know how to do a factory reset.
I have used it as it Guest but am limited to other apps etc without her admin permission which I dont know

Do you need access to any of the data on that laptop?
Or do you just want to completely erase it followed by reinstalling macOS?
