How to restore AirTag notifications on iOS 18.4.1?

I have the same problem. I cannot locate any of my AirTags. I tried deleting one and adding it again, but that did not fix the issue.

After restarting the phone, I tried again, and I had the same problem, but after 10 minutes, it started working fine.

Same issue here. Really annoying since we use it a lot. Glad it isn’t isolated to us.

I’ll wait for another update before removing and re-adding the AirTags.

Same here. I even removed the AirTag from my objects hoping to add it again, but the phone cannot find it anymore!

I also have this issue. I can see my AirTags but notifications are greyed out and I don’t have the option to play sound on them. I did before the update.

i checked all my location services, notification settings, and put new batteries in and nada.

My iPhone 16 no longer notifies me if I am apart from my AirTag. Went to the Apple Store, and they replaced it, but it's not the AirTag. Still no notifications. Works when paired to an iPhone 15. iOS 18.5.

Restarting the phone solved the issue for me

Hmm, I don't see to have this issue; however, I only have a 3rd gen iPhone SE. It is running iOS 18.4.1, I wonder if this is only affecting iPhones, that have Precision Finding capability?
