Auto-correct or keyboard issue replacing “I” with “u” or “o” while typing on my iPhone

I've been experiencing a strange issue where the letter “I” often gets replaced with “u” or sometimes “o” while typing on my device. This happens more frequently when I type quickly. Although the problem seems to have reduced slightly after the recent update, it still occurs enough to change the context of what I’m writing.

For example:

I meant to type: "Today I went to a store and got a bunch of chocolates that I like very much."

But it becomes: "Today u went to a store and got a bunch of chocolates that u like very much."

Has anyone else faced this? Is this an auto-correct issue or a keyboard sensitivity bug?

I really need this to be fixed.

I get what you’re saying, but I’ve been using this device for a long time and never had this issue before. It only started recently, which makes me think it might be something to do with a recent update or maybe a keyboard sensitivity change.

I’m not new to typing and I know what fat-fingering is and this feels different. Just wanted to check if anyone else is seeing the same thing.
