How to sync new Screen Time passcode with child devices on Family Sharing?

I have two child devices on my phone family sharing, I am the organizer/guardian. I set up screencode (old screencode) and they figured it out! So I "CHANGE" or RESET" the screencode on my phone (I followed exactly what Apple Agent advised me called 2x same answers) and the new screencode DID NOT SYNC with my child's phones. So does someone here have a different way or step by step (not the link from Apple how-to please because I tried dont work) how to SYNC with my child's phones because their phones still use the old screen code.
