Safari 18.4 Sequoia still auto-filling from Bookmarks

I've seen this issue repeatedly here with no solution, prior threads closed. I've followed all suggestions, history/cache, turn off Top Hit, everything predictive, keyboard, etc. It also ports to an old Amazon search page that is not bookmarked as soon as I type Amazon without even logging in.

Is there actually no solution? I want no coaching, auto AI or anything predictive from OS. Just a clean workspace. Is that possible with MAC OS now? That seems reasonable to me.

Or must I abandon Safari for another browser?
