Apple TV+ not playing various titles

I have spoken to Apple about this - apparently it is a known issue being worked on... a "workaround" is to open a Private Safari window and then got to tv.apple.com and watch via the browser.

Same for me. Your Friends & Neighbours will play on our smart TV (Apple TV), on my phone, but not on my MacBook Pro. Some other shows also refuse to play. But then, others play just fine. Have tried restarting, logging in and out etc. It's like the buttons are just dead, no reaction when you click "Resume". Also in Australia btw.

Same with me. Various titles won't play but most will. As with most people here, Your Friends & Neighbours is the main issue, though I've tested and a couple other titles including the Studio won't play.

I found a workaround for those needing to watch on a MacBook Pro:

1. Open Apple TV on your iPhone
2. Start playing show
3. Airplay to your MacBook Pro

Not the best solution, and it does lose quality slightly, but a handy trick if, like me, you don't have another option.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the issue is with the Apple TV app - not a web browser life Safari or Chrome. And I don't see any way of clearing caches etc in the Apple TV app. I also had a look in the App Store to see if I could reinstall Apple TV app and no luck there either.

Is anyone from Apple listening?

Try clearing your browser's cache and cookies or using a different browser to see if that helps with the playback issue.

I have the same problem with episodes 2 & 3 of Your Friends & Neighbours not playing. Nothing happens when I click the play button from both the 'continue watching' list and when having clicked through to where all episodes are listed.

I can watch other programs.

I have tried closing and reopening the application and restarting my Mac.

Same issue for me trying to play latest ep of 'The Studio' - Episode 7. Prompts me to confirm I'm over 15 y/o (don't get me started on that annoyance!) and then does nothing. Play button does not initiate the episode. Series was working fine up until this episode. Now I can't play any of them.

Location Australia.

i have same probem with episode 4 of friends and neighbours. I had started watching it on my laptop but when i came back to resume it, it simply won't play. I've rebooted my laptop etc. Earlier episodes will play again and this episode will play on my phone but not my laptop

I've the same from some weeks, some episodes plays on iPad but not on MacBookPro, no on Mankind and arrive till S3E7 all good on MAC, E8 doesn't play... many others doesn't from the beginning.... any idea?

happening to me just with this tv show..macbook pro & windows pc (episodes 1 2 3 dont work, the rest do)

Same issue here! Also in Australia... also with Dope Thief but as others have noted some titles work fine while others do not! Any response from Apple?!?!?!?
